Opening of the exhibition\u00a0<i class=\"spip\">T\u00e0pies und die B\u00fccher<\/i>\u00a0(Schirn Kunsthalle, Frankfurt). The travelling exhibition\u00a0<i class=\"spip\">T\u00e0pies. Celebraci\u00f3 de la mel<\/i>, produced and organised by Fundaci\u00f3 Antoni T\u00e0pies, opens in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Centro Atl\u00e1ntico de Arte Moderno). Produces the commemorative poster for the celebration of the quatercentenary of the death of Saint John of the Cross. He goes to Paris, where Galerie Lelong is showing a large group of ceramics done by him between 1981 and 1991. Publication of\u00a0<i class=\"spip\">Mati\u00e8re du souffle<\/i>, a collector\u2019s book done in association with Jacques Dupin. The Fundaci\u00f3n Cultural Casa de la Moneda in Madrid awards him the Tom\u00e1s Francisco Prieto Prize. Solo exhibitions in Barcelona, Cologne, Zurich, Oporto, London, San Sebasti\u00e1n, Burgos, Tokyo, Mexico City, Long Beach and New York.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"spip\"><strong class=\"spip\">1992<\/strong><br \/>\nPresentation in the Fundaci\u00f3 Antoni T\u00e0pies of the exhibition\u00a0<i class=\"spip\">T\u00e0pies. Comunicaci\u00f3 sobre el mur<\/i>, which subsequently travels to the Institut Valenci\u00e0 d\u2019Art Modern (IVAM) in Valencia and the Serpentine Gallery in London. He travels to Seville for the opening of\u00a0<i class=\"spip\">T\u00e0pies. Celebraci\u00f3 de la mel<\/i>\u00a0(Pabell\u00f3n Mud\u00e9jar), which is then presented in Sankt Gall (Kunstmuseum) and Bilbao (Sala Rekalde). In New York for the opening of his retrospective exhibition of graphic work at the Museum of Modern Art. Appointed member of honour of the Royal Academy of Arts in London, and of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in Cambridge (USA). In C\u00e9ret is a presentation of the mural that he has produced by assignment of the museum of modern art in the town. Barcelona City Council confers on him the Gold Medal of the city. Takes part in the exhibition\u00a0<i class=\"spip\">Repetici\u00f3n\/Transformaci\u00f3n<\/i>\u00a0(Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sof\u00eda, Madrid).
