2007<\/strong>
\nEMMA-Espoo Museum of Modern Art is having the first retrospective exhibition of Antoni T\u00e0pies in Finland. To mark the occasion the catalogue\u00a0Antoni T\u00e0pies<\/i>\u00a0is to be published. On 5 November, the Fundaci\u00f3 Antoni T\u00e0pies presents the portfolio\u00a07 poemes a Antoni T\u00e0pies<\/i>(7 poems to Antoni T\u00e0pies), with poems by Jordi Carri\u00f3 and a print by Antoni T\u00e0pies. The exhibition\u00a0T\u00e0pies Posters and the Public Sphere<\/i>, organised by the Fundaci\u00f3 Antoni T\u00e0pies, tours to the Cervantes Institute, Madrid, and to the Museu Valenci\u00e0 de la Il\u00b7lustraci\u00f3 i de la Modernitat (MuVIM) in Valencia.<\/p>\n

2008<\/strong>
\nIn February, two almost simultaneous exhibitions \u2013 Galeria Toni T\u00e0pies, Barcelona, and Waddington Galleries, London \u2013 present the artist\u2019s most recent work, produced in his studios in Barcelona and Campins during spring and summer 2007. The retrospective exhibition\u00a0T\u00e0pies Posters and the Public Sphere<\/i>\u00a0tours to the Cervantes Institutes in Toulouse, Prague and Berlin. In May, Galerie Lelong, Zurich, exhibits a selection of drawings and sketches from the nineteen nineties and the present decade. At the end of November, an amended version of the exhibition tours to Galerie Lelong, Paris. In December, Galer\u00eda Soledad Lorenzo, Madrid, has an exhibition of the work produced by the artist during the summer in Campins. To mark the occasion of the artist\u2019s 85th birthday, D. Sam Abrams, Jordi Carri\u00f3, Marc Cuixart and Enric Satu\u00e9 have edited the portfolio\u00a0T\u00e0pies escriu<\/i>\u00a0(T\u00e0pies writes), with a selection of texts by Antoni T\u00e0pies and prints by Antoni Llena, Soledad Sevilla, Manel Esclusa, Pere Formiguera, Joan Fontcuberta and Eul\u00e0lia Valldosera. The portfolio will be presented on 13 December in the Auditorium of the Foment de les Arts i del Disseny (FAD).<\/p>\n

2009<\/strong>
\nXavier Antich publishes the book Antoni T\u00e0pies.\u00a0En blanc i negre (1955-2003). Assaigs<\/i>, an anthology of texts by T\u00e0pies previously published in\u00a0La pr\u00e0ctica de l\u2019art<\/i>\u00a0(1970),\u00a0L\u2019art contra l\u2019est\u00e8tica<\/i>\u00a0(1974),\u00a0La realitat com a art<\/i>\u00a0(1982),\u00a0Per un art modern i progressista<\/i>\u00a0(1985),\u00a0Valor de l\u2019art<\/i>\u00a0(1993) i\u00a0L\u2019art i els seus llocs<\/i>\u00a0(1999). The book also includes an interview with Jean-Louis Andral, realised in Barcelona in 2002, and a text rewritten by the artist on the occasion of the award ceremony of the Premio Vel\u00e1zquez de Artes Pl\u00e1sticas in 2003. Together with Indiana University Press, the Fundaci\u00f3 Antoni T\u00e0pies publishes\u00a0A Personal Memoir. Fragments for an Autobiography (Complete Writings. Volume I)<\/i>, the first English version of the book by Antoni T\u00e0pies\u00a0Mem\u00f2ria personal. Fragment per a una autobiografia<\/i>\u00a0(1977), and the first volume of the artist\u2019s complete written works. The publication presents T\u00e0pies\u2019 memoirs, together with historical illustrations from various sources, including his own and his family\u2019s private archives, a chronology and a selection of works that show the development of T\u00e0pies\u2019 artistic language from the 1940s to today. From May to October, the exhibition\u00a0Antoni T\u00e0pies: The Resources of Rhetoric<\/i>\u00a0will be at the Dia: Beacon, New York. He participates in the visual creation of\u00a0Event (2009)<\/i>, presented by the Merce Cunningham Dance Company at the Mercat de les Flors, with five works from the Fundaci\u00f3 Antoni T\u00e0pies\u2019 Collection. Xavier Barral i Altet publishes Abecedari T\u00e0pies.
