The project promotes innovative and inclusive education by integrating artistic practices into teacher-training degrees through an artist-in-residence co-teaching model. It also seeks to establish a transnational network which at least 20 educators, cultural institutions, artists and researchers collaboratively design intercultural learning experiences that advance inclusive education. Core areas of focus include STEAM approaches, active and experiential methodologies, and support for diverse and vulnerable educational contexts.
To strengthen both educational and cultural development, the project embeds arts-based practices into university teaching. Key activities include implementing artist-in-residence programs in higher education institutions and engaging more than 200 students in hands-on, arts-integrated learning experiences. Collaborations between educational and cultural partners will be reinforced through joint workshops, the creation of digital resources, co-creation labs, interdisciplinary courses, and school visits in vulnerable communities.
The project will produce an open-access digital platform, university implementation models, a best-practices database, and interdisciplinary teaching guidelines. By fostering stronger university-community partnerships, it aims to positively impact students, academic staff, artist, cultural institutions, local communities, and organisations working in diverse and vulnerable learning environments. Dissemination efforts will include public events, webinars, policy recommendations, social media outreach, and the establishment of a European network to ensure continued knowledge exchange and long-term scalability.
