The Foundation’s permanent collection contains works embracing all Tàpies’ different periods of artistic creation: from his drawings and portraits of the 40s, the matter works of the 50s and 60s and the object art of the 70s to the ceramics and fireclay sculptures of the 80s and the paintings of the 90s, works these last which reveal the artist’s interest in recent political events.
