The Library specializes in modern and contemporary art. It also includes the most extensive collection on the work of Antoni Tàpies: monographs, exhibition catalogs, press clippings and archival materials. The collections include books on painting, sculpture, drawing, print, architecture, design, decorative arts, performance, photography, film and video, as well as the latest emerging arts. There are collections on Asian, African and oceanic culture and art.
