The Fundació Antoni Tàpies presents the exhibition Tàpies: The Zen Imprint to coincide with the celebration of the centenary of the artist’s birth.
The show includes a selection of forty paintings and drawings by the artist, some of which are being exhibited publicly for the first time, and allows us to discover how Tàpies integrated into his language many of the attitudes, images and techniques used by certain Japanese monks to transmit the teachings of Zen Buddhism.
Tàpies: The Zen Imprint is completed with several proposals for public programming as well as family, educational programming and unique experiences that will be added to regular actions.
